------On the three rules of safe production
According to relevant information, 98% of accidents are caused by human factors. A deeper analysis shows that the factors of weak security awareness account for more than 90%, while the level of safety technology accounts for less than 10%. A lack of security awareness will surely lead to a security incident, a fact that no one can deny. So how to improve the safety awareness of employees? It is necessary to abide by the three rules of safe production.
Rule 1: Safety knowledge is better than safety facilities.
What is safety knowledge? Safety knowledge is what people know when they are facing risks, including safety procedures, safety systems, safety knowledge, and so on. As an example, we all know that more than two meters of work is considered to be high-altitude work, high-speed work must be fastened with seat belts, and safety belts must be hung low. This is called safety knowledge. The live part can't be touched. The production site must standardize the wearing of the helmet. Some people just don't know, this is the lack of safety knowledge.
How do we understand the rules in a clear and concise manner? According to my example, you know that it is better to install a guardrail than to work on a high-level work platform.
Rule 2: Safety awareness is stronger than safety knowledge.
The narrow sense of security refers to the understanding of security in people's ideology, which is what we often say. The vast majority of people do not know the violations, but intentionally or unintentionally violate the rules, which is a weak security awareness. Going back to the example of high-level work and seat belts, some people know that high-altitude work above two meters must be fastened, but their own luck is awkward. It is troublesome not to wear seat belts. This is the issue of safety awareness. .
Rule 3: Safety willingness is better than safety awareness.
The willingness to safety refers to the will and desire of employees to fulfill their safety production responsibilities and achieve safety performance. Security awareness tends to stay on the mind, and the will to be safe is not only on the mind, but also on the emotional initiative. An employee who does not have the willingness to work safely must not behave in an active manner. Only with the strong will of safe production, employees can consciously perform their safety duties. My understanding of the will to be safe is "I want to be safe."
Without safety knowledge, employees will be confused and hurt; without security awareness, accidents will be uninvited. Safety knowledge is important and safety awareness is more important. When employees have security awareness, they will learn security knowledge and have security. The will to be safe is the premise and foundation of security awareness. Safety management should start with the safety willingness of employees, strengthen their awareness with their will, and ensure safety with their consciousness.
So how do you cultivate the safety will of employees?
First of all, we must let employees figure out "who is safe for whom". Only let employees know that they are the biggest beneficiaries of safety can make the employee's mentality change from "I want to be safe" to "I want to be safe." Many times our safety system has been established, safety education has been done, safety management has been supervised, and employees have passively accepted the knowledge and awareness of safety precautions. This is the so-called "I want to be safe." However, letting employees understand "who is safe for whom" will be clear why they should do so. Individual security systems can be regarded as effective protection measures; once and for all, safety education can be regarded as a reminder of goodwill. Safety education can be motivated, and safety awareness can take root. This is the so-called "I want to be safe."
Safety production is of great significance to both enterprises and individuals. The development of enterprises is inseparable from safe production. The personal happiness of employees is also inseparable from safe production. Safety production needs to rely on the joint efforts of all employees. Let us work together to build a community of destiny for the company and employees, abide by various safety management systems, and jointly turn the attitude of “make me safe” into “I want to be safe”, jointly eliminate the occurrence of safety accidents and jointly create an atmosphere of safe production.
