The Last Steel Box Girders of the Bridge over S312 Highway on the Xingyang Section of Jiaoping Expressway Was Successfully Connected

At 11:58 am on June 29, the main line steel box girder over the S312 highway of the Xingyang section of the Jiaoping Expressway, which was constructed by the Metal Structure Company, was successfully connected. This is another stage of progress made by the project since the completion of the erection of the steel box girder of the pedestrian overpass at the end of April. It also laid a solid foundation for the entire line completion of the project.
It is reported that the bridge is divided into left portion and right portion, with a total span of 137 meters, a bridge deck width of 40 meters, and a total steel structure weight of 3,100 tons. It is a key control project for this project. Since the first hoisting on May 14, the project department has faced high temperatures and scorching heat without fear of challenges. It has demonstrated Henan Installation’s responsibility with a fighting spirit and completed the installation of 119 girder sections of the main line in just 47 days, achieving the goal of joint closure 15 days ahead of the command's requirement, which has been highly praised by the owner and the supervision unit.
In the next step, the project department will continue to work hard, keep a close eye on the milestones, strengthen organization, strictly control the quality, and speed up the progress of the subsequent two links of ramp steel box girders, so as to contribute Henan Installation’s strength to speed up the project construction and realize the goal of opening to traffic as soon as possible!
