At 10: 18 a.m. on October 27, 2022, the first span steel box girder of the reconstruction and expansion project of Qianjin Bridge in Yiyang County, manufactured and installed by Yu 'an Metal Structure Company, was slowly lifted. With the rotation of the boom of the 400-ton crawler crane, it was successfully put in place after more than 10 minutes. The success of the first crane marks the official opening of the main line steel box girder erection of Qianjin Bridge!
The beam section hoisted this time is located at the south starting point of the river-crossing steel box girder of the main line of Qianjin Bridge, with a height of 2.2 meters and a total weight of about 106 tons. After the beam section is in place, the main span part will be erected in turn, of which the main span is about 45 meters in single span and 35.4 meters in maximum width at the widened part. After all factory manufacturing is completed, it will be transported to the site for hoisting and welding in sections.
The smooth hoisting of the first section of steel box girder will speed up the pace of the connection of the elevated main structure of the forward bridge and take a key step to ensure the connection of the whole line. In the next step, the metal structure company will take a more high-spirited attitude, unite as one, overcome difficulties, engage in production at full capacity, go all out to protect the nodes, and contribute "Yu'an" strength to the early opening of the project!
It is reported that the reconstruction and expansion project of Qianjin Bridge is a key livelihood project in Yiyang County in 2022. The project starts from Li He Avenue in the north and ends at Hongqi Road in the south, with a total length of 2.5 kilometers. The main line is all elevated. The cross-river section is a double-layer structure, with a total length of 495 meters. The upper part is an elevated main line motor lane, among them, the undertaking part of our unit is located on the south side of the bridge, with a total length of 244 meters, mainly including the manufacturing and installation of the main line and non-bridge steel box girders on both sides. After the completion of the project, it will greatly facilitate the travel of people on both sides of the strait. At the same time, Yiyang will also become the only county with elevated roads in Luoyang, which is of far-reaching significance for further enhancing the interconnection of surrounding road networks and improving the urban development pattern.
