The Steel Structure Foundation Installation is Ready for Ji Ning Arch Bridge

On July 24^th , the last arch foot was installed successfully for Ji Ning Old Canal Arch Bridge undertaken by us, which marked the successful installation for 0# & 1# bearing rigid frame and arch foot embedment. 

Ji Ning Old Canal Arch Bridge project is located in Ren Cheng District, Ji Ning City, Shan Dong Province. This is the first deck-arch bridge we have ever undertaken and made, its steel structure part weighs around 919 tons with span of 56 meters, and its main arch is spliced withφ711mm*40mm seamless steel pipe.

Since June, the project construction period became very tight due to procurement difficult and lack of technology and experience. Our company each dep. worked very closely to study and design production and construction plan and deploy construction staff to enter the site in advance to prepare for installation work. On July 13^th , the installation work started after 0# bearing and 10 rigid frames arrived. Instead of lifting installation, decentralized installation was adopted for Rigid frames and arch foot because the bearing reinforced bar was already tightened. And rain weather also increased difficulty for the project. Our on-site stuff did what they can and worked overtime to meet the deadlines. 20 arch feet and 20 rigid frame for 0# & 1# bearing were installed successfully in 11 days of hard work.

This marked the successful installation of steel structure foundation segment for Ji Ning Old Canal Arch Bridge. The work for main bridge arch rib installation will start after concrete back-filling. Our company will also make full  preparation for on-site installation by speeding up our production to ensure all the work can be done on time to facilitate the show up of this beautiful bridge.
