At 9:16 am on May 14, the first lifting of the steel box girder of the bridge of Xingyang section of Jiaoping Expressway over S312, undertaken by the Metal Structure Company, was successfully completed, marking the official start of the installation of the main line steel box girder of the project.
It is understood that the steel box girder hoisted this time is the main line bridge of the first joint of Jiaoping Expressway over S312 Yanhuang Expressway. It is divided into two sections, with a total span of 137 meters, a bridge deck width of 34.1 meters, and a total steel structure weight of 3,100 tons. As the lifting of the box girder required the temporary closure of half of the main road of S312 Yellow River Expressway, in order to ensure the orderly progress of the girder construction and minimize the impact of the construction on vehicles passing through the main road, the project department communicated with Party A, road administration and other relevant departments in advance, continuously optimized and improved the construction plan, and made sufficient preparations for the construction. It took only five hours to complete the lifting of a total of nine girder segments on the right side of section AB.
The successful hoisting this time has pressed the "fast forward button" for the construction of the steel structure main bridge of the Xingyang section of Jiaoping Expressway. In the next step, the project department will make every effort to speed up the erection of the remaining girder sections, continue to strictly control safety, quality and progress, complete the welding tasks with high quality and high efficiency, and hand over high-quality projects to the owner, so as to promote the early realization of the project opening to traffic!
