, with the last roof truss hoisted in place, the steel structure part of the roof of the hall of the outpatient medical technology building of Luoyang children's hospital, which was manufactured and installed by the metal structure company, was successfully completed.
It is understood that the hall area of the outpatient medical technology building is about 3000m 2 . The roof is made of three truss steel structures and connected by 30 connecting beams. The single truss is 3.2 meters high, 35 meters wide and has a dead weight of about 30 tons. Due to the large span of the truss and the long hoisting distance (the hoisting radius is 48 meters), the metal structure company repeatedly studied and judged the hoisting scheme before hoisting. after joint argumentation by the group, the owner and the supervision experts, it decided to adopt two 500-ton truck cranes for hoisting and installation. at the same time, it made comprehensive arrangements for hoisting safety disclosure, personnel and material support to ensure safe hoisting. At 17:00 on April 18, after all safety measures and preparations were fully completed, with the order of the lifting commander, with the cooperation of the on-site crane driver and construction personnel, the truss was slowly raised. After several adjustments, it was smoothly hoisted in place. After nearly two days of hard work, the three trusses and all connecting beams were safely and successfully hoisted.
The completion of the installation of the roof truss has laid the foundation for the subsequent roof construction of the hall of the outpatient medical technology building, won precious time, and marked that the hall construction has entered a new stage in an all-round way.
